phrasal verb are verb which change the meaning in some way by adding particals ,, down, away, in , up, after, off, across
in other case , the phrasal verb has different meaning to the meaning of its sparate parts
EX; he's given up eating meat
means: he's stopped eating meat
I'll throw away the rabbish
there is four types of phrasal verbs
1- phrasal verb doesn't take on object
verb _ partical
EX: sit down
look out = take care
we sit off on our journey ( started)
2- phrsal verb take on object when the object is a noun, it can go after or before the partical
EX: take off your chose
or take ur chose off
but when the object is pronoun , it can only go before the partical
not after it
EX: i'll throw it away ..not i'll throw away it

3- phrasal verb take on object but we cannot separate the verb from the partical
verb+ partical + object
looking after baby is haed work

4- verb+ partical + preposition + object
EX: i'm looking forward to the weekend
you go now and i'll catch up with u later
