Why don't you start by asking her to a low-commitment activity such as getting a cup of coffee or a drink? The next time you see her, try saying something like "Would you like to grab a cup of coffee" or "How about a drink tonight?" But it might make your teacher-student relationship uncomfortable, if he doesn’t feel the same way about you. And even if he does, it might make the rest of the students uncomfortable to know that you were romantically involved with the teacher. Some might even say that you are receiving preferential treatment because of your relationship. So my suggestion is to find another cute English teacher…just not the one from your own class!
